  • FBI background checks:

    Live Scan fingerprinting allows us to submit your fingerprints to the FBI electronically. FBI background checks pull their information directly from the same source as law enforcement. AFIS, a consolidated database comprised of submissions from law enforcement jurisdictions throughout the country.

  • FINRA background checks:

    This Live Scan transmits fingerprint records electronically to https://www.finra.org/about on behalf of securities brokers and dealers. Checks pull their information directly from the same source as law enforcement. AFIS, a consolidated database comprised of submissions from law enforcement jurisdictions throughout the country.

  • FFL/print-to-card:

    Ink fingerprinting is the traditional way of submitting fingerprints to the FBI via FD-258 cards. The digital fingerprint records that are created with the Live Scan system are printed out onto FD258 civilian fingerprint cards.

    Fact: Federal law trumps local law. 


    Even though in IL the (local jurisdiction) statute says you’d go to a local law agency or tax office to get your fingerprints enrolled and submitted for CCL, the fact is automatic weapons are more popular and those include Type 3 (FFL), such as big market items, including:


    • Silencers (suppressors)
    • Short-barreled rifles (SBR)
    • Short-barreled shotguns (SBS)
    • Full-auto machine guns
    • Any other weapons (AOW) 
    • Destructive devices (DD)

    Current processing time for Identity History Summary requests submitted electronically is estimated to be three to five business days upon receipt of the fingerprint card. Allow additional time for mail delivery if this option was selected during the request process.

    FDLE background checks and Agency for Health Care Administration workflow. The Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) is responsible for handling all Florida background checks in the state. We are able to take your fingerprints for your FDLE background check and submit them to the FDLE via our approved channelers. FDLE background checks pull their information directly from the same source as law enforcement. AFIS, a consolidated database comprised of submissions from law enforcement jurisdictions throughout the country.  This service is for traveling Florida state professional and Healthcare related applicants.

Immigrations Fingerprinting

Non-citizens, non-legal residents, and non-green card holders CAN submit fingerprint FD258 cards to the FBI. The results still go back to either the individual or the individual’s authorized attorney. To have the results go back to an employer on the cards that you submit, you will need to put your information on the cards as the employer.
